Lilly Thigpen was born in Muskegon, Michigan. With her father joining the military when she was six years old, she grew up all over the United States. 

 

As the Salutatorian of her class, Lilly earned her Bachelor's of Science in Film Production from Full Sail University in May 2018. Throughout her undergrad degree experience, Lilly realized she was far more interested in business-oriented positions in the media industry. While working as a film production course work-study at Full Sail University and a freelancer in the industry, she completed her Master of Science degree in Entertainment Business as the Valedictorian of the class in 2019.

 

After the completion of her degree, Lilly continued to work as an Orlando freelancer working on an assortment of television shows and commercials. This work led to her application and joining of IATSE Local 477 in 2020.

In her career, Lilly aims to be a support for any and all creatives. She feels her film degree gives her the background knowledge of what it takes to create a visual medium for entertainment. Now she is utilizing her business degree to be a great coordinator to make those projects happen.

Lilly Thigpen now travels all over the world for work; but she calls Central Florida her home.
